Table of Content+
Start with the correct post link. This guide helps you copy the link, choose a download result, and make sure the file is actually saved.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the right to save the content. Check that the post is still accessible and that your device has enough storage space. If the creator provides an official save option that meets your needs, you can use that too.
Decide what result you need: video for moving images, audio for sound, or photos for image posts. This helps you avoid downloading a large file you do not actually need.
Copying the Post Link
Open the specific post you want to download. Find the Share menu, then choose Copy link when available. In a desktop browser, you can also copy the address after opening the individual post.
A profile address points only to an account. A search-results or homepage address also does not identify one video. If shared text contains a long sentence, make sure the URL portion is not cut off when you paste it.
Examples of Correct and Incorrect Input
ID, CODE, and the names in the table are illustration placeholders. These examples are not active links or a list of formats that have passed backend testing.
| Example Input Format | What It Means | What to Do |
|---|---|---|
| https://www.tiktok.com/@name/video/ID | Format of a single-video link | Replace the example with the real link copied from the post. |
| https://vt.tiktok.com/CODE/ | Short-link format | Use the complete address; do not change its code. |
| https://www.tiktok.com/@name | Account profile | Open a specific post and copy its address. |
| Song title or @name | Text, not a post address | Copy the URL of the video containing that content. |
| Two URLs in one field | More than one source | Process one post per request. |
Entering a Link into SnapTik
Open the homepage, then paste the link into the field. The Paste button depends on browser clipboard permission. If it fails, use press-and-hold on a phone or the paste shortcut on a computer.
Press Download once and wait for the result message. If the field contains more than one address, remove the extra address and try again. This workflow is intended for one post per request.
Choosing the Correct Result
Match the preview image with the source. Choose a no-watermark video or another variant only when that button is available. For separate audio, use the MP3 tool. For images, open the photo tool.
An HD label or resolution number should be read together with the result description. Quality cannot exceed the detail available from the source. If you need a smaller file, choose an appropriate variant when available instead of assuming every result has the same size.
Making Sure the Download Finishes
After you press a file button, the browser may ask for confirmation or a save location. Wait until the status shows complete before opening the result. Seeing a preview on the page is not the same as saving the file.
Check the download list if you cannot find the file. Open its location from that list to avoid downloading a file again when it is already saved. The Android, iPhone, and computer guides cover the next steps.
What About Links from TikTok Lite?
Check the link you copied, not only the name of the app you copied it from. If the link points to a supported, accessible post, enter it into the appropriate tool. Support for every version of the Lite app is not assumed automatically.
If the sharing menu is different, look for a copy-link option or open the post in a browser when permitted. Do not send account login information in an attempt to make a link work.
Common Mistakes
Pasting a username instead of a post link.
Removing part of a short link.
Pressing Download repeatedly while the previous request is still processing.
Assuming an audio file will be saved as a video in the gallery.
Assuming a ZIP result is broken when the archive has not yet been extracted.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the link I copied?+
The link remains in your device clipboard until it is replaced by something else you copy. Paste it into the input field; you do not need to look for a link file in the gallery.
Why doesn't the preview match?+
Check the copied address again. You may have copied a different post or pasted older clipboard contents. Do not download until it matches.
What is the first step when it fails?+
Read the error message, then open the source post. If the source is no longer available, repeating the request does not guarantee a result.
