On iPhone, downloaded files and the Photos library are different locations. Save the file first, then move it to Photos if the format and device options support that.
Starting from the TikTok Link
Copy the link to the TikTok post you want to save.
Open SnapTik in your browser, paste the link, and choose the appropriate result.
Follow any download confirmation that appears. Wait for the process to finish before trying to open the file.
Menus can differ by system version and browser. If the Paste button does not work, press and hold the input field and use the manual paste option.
Finding Downloads
Open the Files app, choose Browse, then check iCloud Drive → Downloads. If your download location is set to device storage, check that location too. In Safari, the Downloads button near the search field opens the list of recently downloaded files.
Search for the filename or download time. A video may not appear in Photos because storing it as a file and adding it to the Photos library are separate steps.
Saving a Video to Photos
Open the downloaded video file. Check the share menu and use the option to save the video to Photos when available. Then check the Photos library separately.
If that option does not appear, the file format or condition may not be suitable. Test whether the file plays first. Renaming a file to .mp4 does not repair a damaged video or change its format.
Managing Audio and Photos
An MP3 can be opened from Files with an app that supports it; a browser download is not automatically added to the Music app library. For a photo ZIP, open Files, find the archive, then tap the ZIP. Open the folder that is created to view the extracted images.
If you only need one photo, downloading an individual image may be more practical than saving and extracting an archive. Make sure the file has finished downloading before moving or sharing it.
When a File Won't Open
Check whether the download has finished. A file cut off by a dropped connection may fail to play. If the result page has been open for a long time, process the link again to get a fresh result.
If the browser only opens a media preview, look for the download or save option provided by the browser. Do not install a configuration profile or provide a login code just to save a video.
